Creamailer’s Anti-Spam Policy

At Creamailer, we are committed to maintaining the highest standards in responsible and compliant email communications. Since 2011, our platform has delivered hundreds of millions of messages for businesses, public sector organizations, educational institutions, cities, unions, and non-profits across multiple industries.

Permission, relevance, and transparency are the foundation of successful email communication. Creamailer has zero tolerance for spam and actively works to protect recipients, customers, and the reputation of our sending infrastructure.

The following principles apply to all use of the Creamailer platform.

1. Zero Tolerance for Spam

Creamailer strictly prohibits the sending of unsolicited or illegal email messages. Spam, purchased lists, scraped email addresses, or any form of non-consensual emailing is not allowed.

All users must comply with applicable legislation and regulations, including but not limited to:

  • GDPR (EU)
  • CAN-SPAM Act (US)
  • ePrivacy Directive
  • Other relevant national and international anti-spam laws

Violation of these rules may result in immediate account suspension or termination.

2. Permission-Based Emailing Only

All email communication sent through Creamailer must be based on explicit, informed, and verifiable consent from recipients.

Users are responsible for ensuring that:

  • Consent has been obtained lawfully
  • The purpose of communication is clear at the time of sign-up
  • Consent records can be demonstrated if required

We strongly recommend the use of double opt-in methods to confirm subscriptions and protect list quality.

3. Bounce Rates and Spam Complaint Monitoring

Creamailer actively monitors email deliverability metrics, including:

  • Hard and soft bounce rates
  • Spam complaints
  • Engagement anomalies

Accounts with unusually high bounce rates or spam reports are automatically flagged for review. Continued violations may lead to restrictions, suspension, or termination of service to protect overall platform deliverability.

4. Abuse and Complaint Handling

All spam or abuse reports sent to abuse@creamailer.fi are investigated promptly and thoroughly.

If a user is found to be in violation of Creamailer’s Anti-Spam Policy, corrective actions may include:

  • Guidance and required corrective measures
  • Temporary sending restrictions
  • Account suspension or permanent termination

5. Responsible List Management

Users are expected to actively maintain their email lists. Best practices include:

  • Removing invalid or inactive email addresses regularly
  • Avoiding outdated or unclear consent sources
  • Segmenting lists to ensure relevant and targeted communication

Good list hygiene improves deliverability and protects both sender reputation and recipient experience.

6. Transparent Sender Identification

All emails sent through Creamailer must clearly identify the sender. This includes:

  • A valid and monitored “From” address
  • Sender information that accurately reflects the organization or individual sending the message
  • No misleading or deceptive subject lines or sender names

7. Clear and Immediate Unsubscribe Options

Every email must include a clear, visible, and functional unsubscribe link.

Unsubscribe requests must be:

  • Easy to complete
  • Processed immediately or without undue delay
  • Respected across all future communications

Recipients’ preferences must always be honored.

8. Compliance with International Standards

Creamailer operates in accordance with recognized international email marketing and deliverability standards. We actively collaborate with technology partners and follow guidance from industry bodies to ensure compliance, reliability, and best-in-class practices.

9. User Education and Support
